How To Sew a 3-Ply Reusable Pleated Face Mask

When I sat down to try to write down the steps I took to sew my masks, I found it so hard to describe what I've always done intuitively. So I thought I'd show you instead! Scroll down to end of the post to watch my video tutorial.

This video tutorial accompanies the printable sewing pattern pack recently released on my shop. It includes PDF patterns for a mask in 3 sizes and written instructions, guiding you step-by-step to sew a 3-ply pleated face mask, complete with nose wire and a filter pocket. As a way of giving back to my community, $1 from the sale of each pattern pack will be donated to charity.

I'm hoping this makes it easier for you to make one, or maybe two, for yourself, especially now that stay home restrictions are starting to ease all around and masks are becoming a requirement for going out in many countries.
