#MELOGivesBack Sep 2020

Guys! It’s another month and once again I’m really really thankful of your support for this small handmade business. It warms my heart to know that you’re enjoying my work and I’m truly grateful. I want to pass on this warm fuzzy feeling which is why I started this little give back project of mine. I finally pulled together the numbers from Septemper’s sales and donated a total of $74.68 to Bush Heritage Australia.

We were away for a week mid-Oct, driving around in a campervan out of the city. We saw mountains, plains, the coast, slept under stars, walked in forests, waded in lakes had breakfast with kangaroos and dinner with kookaburras. All within New South Wales.

The vastness of this land and all its different faces continue to amaze me.
By donating to Bush Heritage Australia, I hope I can do my bit to support them in their efforts in protecting this land and its wonders, and may this beautiful land continue to amaze the generations to come.

For October, 10% of the sales on my website will go towards Indigenous Literacy Foundation and New Life Stories to help close the literacy gaps within Australia’s and Singapore’s communities.

As much as I can, MELO handmades will continue to give back. So if you have any suggestions for charities or organisations I can support, drop me a message on any of my platforms!
